What’s next?
We recognize that the call upon each student’s life is different. We are confident that each of our graduates will be fully equipped to transition into the university setting. Regardless of what path a student takes, we want to encourage them into an environment where they have the opportunity to continue to grow in knowledge, love of our Lord, wisdom, and service for the glory of Christ.
Whether students are off to a four-year university, enrolling in a community college or vocational training, enlisting in our armed forces, or joining the workforce, our goal is to encourage, counsel, and guide them into the will of God, for we know it is there where they will truly thrive.
A letter from your advisor
At Providence, students are prepared to acquire, comprehend, express and defend knowledge from a biblical worldview. Our graduates are equipped to fulfill God’s calling on their lives. They will be able to step confidently onto any college campus and flourish. My goal is to help students consider all of their options, pray alongside them, and give them the resources they need to succeed. We will look at their interests, strengths, weaknesses, goals, and desires. We will look at college-ready data like finances, GPA, test scores, and extracurriculars, but I will challenge them to dig deeper, cover their decisions in prayer, and seek the Word for direction. Being able to walk alongside our students as they seek the Lord’s calling upon their life is one of the greatest blessings of my life and a privilege that I do not take lightly. Together, we will seek where the Lord is leading, knowing that the time spent at Providence has prepared our students to go confidently into whatever the next chapter looks like!
Sola gratia,
Mrs. Patterson

There is an array of avenues to search for scholarship opportunities. Applying for scholarships is an effective way to lessen the burden of the financial weight of college. Small scholarships can add up and reduce monies needed via loans. Top college admissions advisors recommend seniors apply for scholarships like it is their job!
There are numerous ways to look for scholarships that students may qualify for:
Parents/grandparents employers
Parent/grandparent military service
Civic/Community Groups (utility providers, auxiliaries, clubs, etc)

PRE-COLLEGE & LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
When considering how to make oneself competitive in applying for college, grades and test scores undoubtedly hold a lot of weight. However, it would be unwise not to place value in extracurricular and other non-academic activities, as most colleges want to see a well-rounded applicant. At Providence, while forming wisdom & virtue, we strive to grow the whole person. We desire to shape students into well-educated, logical human beings who filter the world through the eyes of the Gospel. In such, we want to encourage students to start using what they have learned and practice imparting their knowledge for the benefit of others around the world.
Here you will find linked information for a plethora of opportunities.
